Gaudi.
Where: Barcelona, Spain.
What: It’s not easy to visit Barcelona and not see anything created by Gaudi. So much so, that his works have been named UNESCO World Heritage sites. Another major landmark, besides la Sagrada Familia, is the Park Güell. The Park Güell was intended as a garden-city, but never really took off as such and was bought by the city of Barcelona in 1922. Pictured is the path of the washerwoman (bugadera), a viaduct made to resemble a wave of rocks, resting on stone palm trees.

What: The Passion-façade was designed by Josep Subirachs. The façade tells the story of the Passion in 16 scenes; from the last supper until the resurrection. Pictured is scene #14, the crucifixion of Jesus.
