Winter City.
Where: Winter City, Grote Markt, Groningen, the Netherlands.
What: Winter City is held every December (this year it’s the fourth edition). An ice rink is built around a big christmas tree on the Main Square of the city. Reflected in this tree-decoration are city hall, the ice rink, some ice skaters, and the market.
