Holy war: Forefather.
Where: Oude Kijk in ‘t Jatstraat, Groningen, the Netherlands.
What: Sinterklaas is actually the forefather of Santa Claus. Dutch colonists brought the tradition to the US where the figure eventually became Santa Claus. Advertising campagnes, most notably by Coca-Cola, gave him it’s current look. A mitre is not part of said look.
