Holy war.
Where: Groningen, the Netherlands.
What: The fight starts earlier every year. Sinterklaas v. Santa Claus. So far, sadly, Santa Claus is winning. The city of Groningen even came back on it’s promise not to place the christmas-tree on the main square before December 5th. But there is one street left, without christmas-lighting, but with Sinterklaas’ mitre in the lighting: the Oude Kijk in t Jatstraat.
