Where: Groningen, the Netherlands.
What: Every morning, an old man with a bike stacked with tools goes through this gate. He stays behind it all day, until leaving again in the evening. He must be the gatekeeper.

Where is it exactly?
Locatie op Google Maps.
Achter de deur liggen een aantal volkstuintjes.
Nooit geweten dat er in die hoek van de stad ook nog volkstuintjes waren. Die gatekeeper, zou hij ook beschikken over een aftandse caravan van waaruit hij de volkstuintjes in de gaten houdt?
Het zijn er een stuk of 10. Geen idee of het ‘echte’ volkstuintjes zijn. Het kan ook zijn dat de grond ooit is geannexeerd door de ‘nomaden’ die er vlak naast wonen. Die hebben in ieder geval genoeg caravans.
