Peek-a-boo.
Rate this picture:White world.

Where: Next to the Ulgersmaweg, Groningen, the Netherlands.
What: Whiter world, anyway. First frost on the grass last night, so I’m starting the countdown to the Elfstedentocht (Eleven Cities Marathon).
I wish I was a little bit taller.

Where: Noorder Dierenpark, Emmen, the Netherlands.
What: Awww, it looks so tasty and the poor little prairie-dog just can’t reach!
Tonguetwister.

Where: Noorder Dierenpark, Emmen, the Netherlands.
What: A giraffe shows of the most difficult tonguetwister of all.
King of the sky.

Where: Emmen, the Netherlands.
What: A Marabou Stork shows his - slightly damaged - total wingspan. It’s wingspan matches that of the Andean Condor, and it’s the largest of any landbird. This one’s wingspan is somewhat limited, with it’s broken wing and all.
Realm of Zutphen.

Where: Martinetsingel, Zutphen, the Netherlands.
What: … but autumn sometimes succeeds to be greener than even spring.
