Ides Of March.
Where: Groningen, the Netherlands.
Ides of march?: ‘Ides’ is a term from the Roman calendar, marking the middle of the month, originally most likely linked to the day of a full moon. Back in Roman times, only 304 out of 365 days were part of the calendar. The other 61 (winter-)days were to cold to be mentioned on the regular calendar.
What: It’s a buttercup, looking out for spring.
