What: Construction of La Sagrada Familia is set to be finished by 2026, some 144 years after construction started in 1882. La Segrada Familia (which translates to -The Holy Family-) is the greatest project of Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926) and his intention was for it to be a temple of atonement - the last great sanctuary of Christendom. The Financing for building the temple completely comes from private donations and alms by the faithful and admirers of the project.
